Best video I’ve Watched on YouTube – The Ryan White Video

It is always my hobby to check out YouTube everyday. I guess it is already everybody’s hobby, too. Since the day that the internet arrived and the website of YouTube has appeared, watching the videos there has already been a part of people’s lives. If you will go and check it, you can see that there are countless of videos posted everyday. They are of various topics, from science and technology up to music and movies.

Since the time that the famous pop icon Michael Jackson died, I can say that I am already considered as one of those people who have been searching for his songs on YouTube. They are said to be the most popular videos before and they even became more popular when the pop star died. But the video that have caught my attention was not all about Michael Jackson. Although it is his song, my attention was caught by the child that he featured in that music video. I can say that it is the best video I’ve watched on YouTube so far.

The video does not have the special effects like the other videos and it is not colorful. In fact, it is very simple but it has a great impact on me. It is the “Ryan White Video” on Michael Jackson’s song, Gone Too Soon.

The song is wonderful but what makes this video more amazing is the message it imparts to all the people around the world. It is a music video that has a purpose of opening people’s eyes regarding AIDS and its impact to the society. The captivating and informative message that the video wants to tell everyone is the foremost reason why I considered it the best video I’ve watched on YouTube.

Maybe a lot of us don’t know who Ryan White is. He is a child on the 80’s who died because of AIDS. During his time, a lot of people are not yet aware of AIDS but because of him people are now more aware on what AIDS is. If you will get to watch the video you will surely have mixed emotions. But you will surely feel happiness because you know that through this video many people already have AIDS awareness. It is just sad because you cannot just accept the fact that such a wonderful boy died because of AIDS and why he had to suffer and experience such terrible case. For me, it is certainly the most moving and definitely the best video I’ve watched on YouTube.
